Valvoline Names New Marketing Director for Lubricant, Chemical Brands

Bryan Emrich has been named marketing director for the Valvoline lubricant and chemical brands. Valvoline is a division of Ashland Inc. Emrich comes to Valvoline with extensive brand management experience. From 1998 to 2003 he managed several hair care brands at Procter & Gamble including Physique, Head & Shoulders and Pert Plus. He most recently served as senior brand manager for Heinz North America, managing the Classico, Aunt Millie’s and Prince Pasta Sauce brands. Between 1991 and 1996, Emrich held marketing and communications positions with Northern Trust Company and Bank of America.

LEXINGTON, KY — Bryan Emrich has been named marketing director for the Valvoline lubricant and chemical brands. Valvoline is a division of Ashland Inc.

Emrich comes to Valvoline with extensive brand management experience. From 1998 to 2003 he managed several hair care brands at Procter & Gamble including Physique, Head & Shoulders and Pert Plus. He most recently served as senior brand manager for Heinz North America, managing the Classico, Aunt Millie’s and Prince Pasta Sauce brands. Between 1991 and 1996, Emrich held marketing and communications positions with Northern Trust Company and Bank of America.

In his new role at Valvoline, Emrich will be responsible for directing the marketing strategies for key lubricant and chemical brands across Do-It-Yourself and Do-It-For-Me channels. He is based in Lexington, Ky., and reports to Rolf Linder, vice president of marketing.
