DALLAS, TEXAS — Valspar Corp., a paint manufacturer and supplier to the collision repair industry, will celebrate the company’s 200th anniversary this year. House of Kolor, a division of Valspar, will celebrate its 50th anniversary this year as well. The company will utilize its long-standing relationship with the International Autobody Congress & Exposition (NACE) to mark these two occasions.
Valspar said its commitment to providing education to the industry will continue to be at the top of the company’s strategic plan and NACE 2005 will serve as the platform for such industry involvement. Valspar will offer two educational programs specifically designed to address the needs of their customers at NACE this year.
“Our presence at NACE is an integral part of Valspar’s growth in this industry. Valspar considers NACE to be the best venue to stage the biggest selling opportunity of the year, both nationally and worldwide,” said Joel Hart, group vice president, Valspar Automotive Group.
Valspar has partnered with NACE as an exhibitor since 1987 and strongly agrees with the decisions put in place in 2003 to hold NACE in Las Vegas during Automotive Aftermarket Industry Week each year, adding value to their overall investment in the event, as well as the automotive industry as a whole.
“We respect the loyalty, support and perseverance Valspar has shown by participating in NACE each year. Their enthusiasm is contagious among other exhibiting companies and their allegiance does not go unnoticed,” said Dana Teague, NACE Sr. Show Director. “Valspar’s consistent ROI has led them to choose NACE as their marketing vehicle. Their knowledge of the industry and market share is just one of the attributes contributing to their on-going success.”
