ALSIP, IL — Universal Automotive Industries, a distributor and manufacturer of brake rotors and other brake parts, has promoted William Stock to senior vice president of supply chain, having previously served as vice president manufacturing for the last two-and-a-half years.
Among Stock’s new responsibilities will be to lead a team charged with accelerating the implementation of a cross functional business program between internal and external suppliers, distribution and purchasing. He reports directly to Arvin Scott, Universal’s president and CEO.
Prior to joining Universal as vice president manufacturing in 2002, Stock had more than 17 years of automotive industry experience, including five years as general manager of a Tier 1 supplier to Ford and Daimler Chrysler. He also was manager of engineering and quality at Allied Signal (now Honeywell).
