CARSON, Calif. U.S. Auto Parts Network, one of the largest online providers of automotive aftermarket parts and accessories, has reported net sales of $62.8 million for the fourth quarter ended Dec. 29, 2012, compared with net sales of $77.2 million for the fourth quarter ended Dec. 31, 2011, a decrease of 18.6 percent from fourth quarter 2011 net sales.
Fourth quarter 2012 net loss was $30.8 million or 99 cents per share, compared with fourth quarter 2011 net loss of $7 million or 23 cents per share.
For the fiscal year ended Dec. 29, 2012, the company generated net sales of $304 million compared with the fiscal year ended Dec. 31, 2011, net sales of $327.1 million, a decrease of 7 percent from the prior year’s net sales. Net loss for fiscal year 2012 was $36 million or $1.17 per share, compared with net loss of $15.1 million or 50 cents per share.
