Two Receive New Responsibilities in Timken’s U.S. Automotive and Heavy-Duty Aftermarket

Wayne Dyer and Sam George appointed to new positions.

CANTON, Ohio – Wayne Dyer and Sam George have received new responsibilities at Timken Co. Both will report to Mike Peace, national sales manager – automotive aftermarket.
      
Dyer has been named aftermarket sales program manager. He is responsible for managing key national accounts as well as automotive program distribution buying groups. This newly created position is designed to demonstrate Timken’s dedication to driving stronger customer value propositions for channel partners and end-customers. Dyer joined Timken in 2000 as a regional manager and will continue to be based near Columbus, Ohio.
      
George has assumed the position of central region zone manager - automotive aftermarket. In this assignment, he will work closely with Timken’s independent representatives and automotive warehouse distributor market segment. George joined Timken in 2004 as a sales engineer and has since served as an account manager. He began his career with NSK as an application engineer. After two years as a sales engineer at GEA Engine Cooling Systems, he joined Americool Manufacturing as an application engineer. George holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Oklahoma State University. Currently, he is based in the Detroit sales office, located in Novi, Mich. He and is family will soon relocate to the Canton, Ohio, area.
