Two Named to Executive Positions at DENSO Manufacturing Michigan

DENSO Manufacturing Michigan has appointed two individuals to executive positions. Karen Cooper-Boyer and Joe Stich have been promoted to general managers in their areas of supervision.

BATTLE CREEK, MI — DENSO Manufacturing Michigan has appointed two individuals to executive positions. Karen Cooper-Boyer and Joe Stich have been promoted to general managers in their areas of supervision.

As general manager of Human Resources, Corporate Services and Human Resource Systems Planning, Cooper-Boyer is responsible for associate relations, compensation and benefits, recruiting, strategic systems planning and associate health at DENSO Manufacturing Michigan, Inc. (DMMI). She also oversees the training, communication and administration departments. Cooper-Boyer joined DMMI in 1990 and was named assistant general manager in 1997.

As general manager of the Heater, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Plant, Joe Stich oversees manufacturing/operations, process engineering, plant engineering and the Efficient Factory and Toyota Production System programs in the HVAC Plant within DMMI. Before being named assistant general manager (AGM) of the HVAC plant last year, he had been AGM of Production Control since 1996. He came to DMMI in 1988.
