Two students have been selected as recipients of scholarships from the Marilyn Schwartz Memorial Fund, established within the University of the Aftermarket Foundation.
Recipients for the $1,000 scholarship awards are:
- Adam Bancroft of East Falmouth, Massachusetts, attending the University Of Northwestern Ohio, Lima, and pursuing an associates degree in applied science of automotive/diesel technology.
- Mohamed Diaby of Galloway, Ohio, attending the University of Northwestern Ohio in the automotive/diesel technology program.
The Marilyn Schwartz Memorial Fund was established within the University of the Aftermarket Foundation to award scholarships in honor of Marilyn Schwartz, wife of aftermarket veteran Mort Schwartz, partner, Schwartz Advisors and founder of the Global Automotive Aftermarket Symposium (GAAS).
“We are pleased to help deserving young women and men obtain scholarship funds to help further their education,” Schwartz said. “Over the years, 2,500 have benefitted from this program. It assures the quality of people entering the automotive aftermarket.”
