Truck Accessories Group Renamed LEER Group

The company manufactures and supplies products under the LEER, SnugTop, Century, Pace Edwards by LEER, and BEDSLIDE brands.

Truck Accessories Group, LLC (TAG) announced that the company will begin operating under a new name and will be known as LEER Group, effective immediately. This renaming strategy reflects the evolution of the organization as well as the strength of its brands, the company says.

LEER Group is a collection of companies that together, manufacture and supply fiberglass and aluminum truck caps, tonneau covers and accessories under the brand names include LEER, SnugTop, Century, Pace Edwards by LEER, and BEDSLIDE brands.

“As we looked to the future of the company and the industry, it made sense to lead with a brand that has decades-strong recognition among truck owners,” said Peter O’Connell, president of LEER Group. “LEER Group is comprised of some of the most valued brand names in the industry.”

O’Connell added that while the group name is changing, the names of individual brands including LEER, SnugTop, Century, BedSlide and Pace Edwards by LEER would remain. “Together, our brands aim to cover a truck owner’s needs by enhancing the use of the truck and enabling the owner to get the most out of every experience.”

LEER Group is a Business Unit of J.B. Poindexter & Co. (JBPCO), a larger, privately held portfolio of manufacturing businesses that provide premier transportation goods and services. J.B.Poindexter & Co. includes leaders in the transportation industry such as Morgan Truck Body, Masterack, Morgan Olson, Reading Truck Group and the newest JBPCO business unit, EAVX.
