ELKHART, IN – Truck Accessories Group (TAG) brand, Raider Industries, will relocate from its Moose Jaw, Canada, location to two Elkhart, IN, facilities in early 2007. Raider Industries is a manufacturer of truck caps and tonneaus.

“The relocation is in response to the growing importance of Raider products in the U. S. market,” said President Bruce Freeman. “The benefits of this move to our dealer network all fall to the positive side. They include a more favorable currency valuation, shorter and lower-cost shipping routes, more efficient production due to scale economies, and faster delivery cycles.”

In short, Freeman said, Raider dealers and customers can expect Raider products to become stronger in terms of value, product quality and speed of delivery. The change will allow production to take place at a location closer to the majority of the Raider dealer’s customers, thereby assuring faster turnaround time, he added.
