TRICO Group and UCI International Holdings Inc. (UCI) today announced the sale of the Performance Pumps business, comprised of ASC Industries and Airtex Products, to TRICO Group. The acquisition is effective immediately.

“We are excited to add Airtex Fuel Pumps and ASC Water Pumps to our current Carter Fuel Pumps portfolio,” said Jay Burkhart, president of TRICO Group. “We will now provide to our customers the industry’s strongest program in the pump category.”

UCI’s Performance Pumps business is a leading producer of highly engineered cooling systems and fuel delivery systems. ASC Industries’ cooling systems are sold across a diverse set of aftermarket channels, including construction, agriculture, automotive, transportation, and general industrial, as well as to leading original equipment (OE) customers in North America and Europe. Airtex fuel pumps are sold for use in a full range of engine systems, primarily to the U.S. aftermarket and heavy-duty OE market.
