Transnav Has Been Acquired By Plastivaloire Group

Plastivaloire Group ranks among the top European manufacturers of complex plastic parts used in retail consumer products.

Angle Advisors has announced that Plastivaloire Group (PVL) has acquired TransNav Corp. Angle Advisors acted as the exclusive investment banking adviser to TransNav in completing this transaction.

Based in New Baltimore, Michigan, TransNav is a vertically integrated provider of highly engineered and customized plastic components and assemblies. With three strategically located manufacturing facilities in Michigan, Kentucky and Puebla, Mexico, TransNav serves the automotive, retail and industrial end-markets. The company produces a wide variety of products for various applications including fluid system components, functional black plastic, trim (interior, exterior and decorative) and shopping carts.

Percy Vreeken, president of TransNav, said, “Plastivaloire Group is the ideal partner for TransNav. With minimal product and customer overlap between the two companies, TransNav can serve PVL’s customers in the U.S. and we can serve our customers in Europe. We look forward to expanding our product capabilities and providing our customers with a broader offering.”

He continued, “We would like to thank the team at Angle Advisors. They did an amazing job of advising us and guiding us through this process and found us the very best possible partner. Their knowledge of plastic injection molding and the automotive industry, relationships with buyers and transaction expertise were an essential component of this great outcome.”

“The acquisition of TransNav puts the Plastivaloire Group a step ahead of its roadmap, taking proforma revenue to nearly €750 million, which was the target initially set for 2020, and marking a major milestone in achieving its 2025 revenue target of €1 billion,” said Patrick Findeling, Plastivaloire Group’s chairman, CEO and president.

Plastivaloire Group ranks among the top European manufacturers of complex plastic parts used in retail consumer products. It designs and manufactures these plastic parts and handles their mass production. Present within the multimedia, motor vehicle and electric and electrical appliance sectors, the Group has 27 production sites in France, Germany, Poland, Spain, Romania, Turkey, Tunisia, England, Portugal, Slovakia and Mexico.
