MAHLE Motorsport Offers Custom Piston Program

MAHLE Motorsport, known for its popular shelf stock PowerPak and PowerPak Plus piston assemblies, has announced availability of a custom piston program for engine builders and professional race teams. Custom pistons for street, off-road or race applications can be developed at the company’s manufacturing facility in Fletcher, North Carolina, for both gasoline and diesel engines.

Smitty Smith, technical sales coordinator at Edelbrock, has worked for Edelbrock for 29 years and has been using their products for 50. His primary function at Edelbrock is to help consumers by responding to their inquiries from Edelbrock’s website and through social media. In this capacity he has become known as the “Answer Man” because of the enormous quantity of questions he has answered, and still answers every day.

Tesla Approves Pro Spot MIGs, New i4s Spot Welder

Pro Spot recently announced new Tesla approvals for the i4s Smart Spot Welder and SP Series MIG Welders for its OEM approved equipment list. After a rigorous testing process, Tesla Inc. has approved the new i4s Smart Spot Welder and all of the SP Series MIG Welders for aluminum and advanced steel welding. These join previously Tesla approved equipment like the i5 Smart Spot Welder, PR-5 Rivet Gun System, and more.

Dayco Presented With Paccar Quality Achievement Award

Dayco’s consistent levels of manufacturing quality and distribution capability have once more been independently endorsed by PACCAR, the organization behind the DAF, Kenworth and Peterbilt brands. The company’s Chieti plant in Italy has been awarded its Quality Achievement certification for delivering original equipment (OE) components that match or exceed its 10PMM performance requirements.

Prestolite Electric Earns ‘Best New Product’ From GPC

Prestolite Electric was recently awarded the “Best New Product” distinction from the Genuine Parts Co.’s Asia Pacific (GPC AP) organization for the company’s PowerPro Extreme 10 starter, commonly known as the “M128” motor. GPC AP representatives acknowledged that, with its light weight and high torque, the M128 was a game-changer in heavy-duty starter design.
