Forty aftermarket professionals met in Midland, Michigan, on the grounds of Northwood University for Leadership 2.0, a week-long executive learning opportunity through the University of the Aftermarket.
To kick off the course, Tina Hubbard, chief operating officer of HDA Truck Pride, gave the keynote address during opening dinner.
Hubbard spent 30 minutes discussing her storied career in the automotive aftermarket, which includes a heavy focus on the commercial vehicle industry. Also discussed were market drivers for the commercial vehicle aftermarket, leadership and career advice. Hubbard also addressed being a female in a male-dominated industry.
“I’m honored to have been selected as the keynote speaker for this year’s Leadership 2.0 class,” said Hubbard. “This is the next generation of leaders within our industry and it was a privilege to share insights that I’ve gained throughout my career.”
