Timken U.S. Automotive and Heavy Duty Aftermarket Sales Teams Realigned

Jack Cameron, general manager – automotive aftermarket – North & South America for Timken, announced that the Timken U.S. automotive and heavy duty aftermarket sales teams have been realigned to better serve customers. Formerly known as regional managers, the role of each of the zone managers has expanded to encompass larger geographic areas. Where there were formerly six U.S. regions, there are now four U.S. zones. The company said these zones are in closer alignment with Timken’s independent representatives and warehouse distributor base. The two additional former regional managers have been reassigned to have a greater focus on co-manufacturing and heavy duty national accounts.

CANTON, OH — Jack Cameron, general manager – automotive aftermarket – North & South America for Timken, announced that the Timken U.S. automotive and heavy duty aftermarket sales teams have been realigned to better serve customers. Formerly known as regional managers, the role of each of the zone managers has expanded to encompass larger geographic areas.

Where there were formerly six U.S. regions, there are now four U.S. zones. The company said these zones are in closer alignment with Timken’s independent representatives and warehouse distributor base. The two additional former regional managers have been reassigned to have a greater focus on co-manufacturing and heavy duty national accounts.

The four zone managers, their geographic sales responsibility and office locations are:

• Frank States – Northeastern states, based in Dresher, PA;

• Wayne Dyer – Eastern Central and Southern states, based in Columbus, OH;

• Mike Peace – Central and Southwestern states, based in Houston, TX;

• Marty Schlotzhauer – Western states, based in Palm Desert, CA;

In addition, Cameron announced that Richard Moss and Kevin Morrison have received new responsibilities in order to better serve customers in strategic market segments.

Moss has been named national accounts manager – heavy duty markets. In this new role, he is responsible for group relationships and programs. This newly created position demonstrates Timken’s dedication to the heavy duty market and the company’s goal of growing this business. Moss is based in Fort Mill, S.C.

Morrison has taken over as the national accounts manager for co-manufacturing (Division 2) business (small original equipment customers serviced by the Timken automotive aftermarket group). In this new assignment, he is responsible for sales to customers who consume the company’s products within their kits and other re-packagers of Timken and Torrington products. Reporting to Morrison is Julie Supple, senior sales representative. Morrison is based in Kansas City, Kan.

Both Moss and Morrison, along with all zone managers, will report to the national sales manager – automotive aftermarket.
