CANTON, Ohio Tom Tecklenburg, director automotive and heavy-duty aftermarket, announced that the Timken U.S. and Canadian automotive and heavy-duty aftermarket sales team has been realigned to take advantage of current market opportunities and more effectively utilize resources.
Responsibility for the traditional Automotive Warehouse Distributor (AWD) segment within the United States has been realigned from four zones to three zones: eastern, central and western. In addition, responsibility for Canada has been merged into the western zone. These changes in geographic boundaries allow closer alignment with Timken’s independent representatives and warehouse distributor base.
The three zone managers, their geographic sales territory and office locations are as follows:
Frank States eastern states, based in Dresher, Pa.;
Wayne Dyer central states, based in Columbus, Ohio; and
Marty Schlotzhauer western states and Canada, based in Palm Desert, Calif.
The zone managers are responsible for the sales agencies and distributors located within their territories.
Richard Moss has been appointed to the newly created position of market segment manager heavy-duty. In his new role, Moss will be responsible for the strategic development of the heavy-duty distributor (HDD) segment and the heavy-duty sales agencies in the United States and Canada. In addition, he will retain his current responsibilities of managing and growing business within heavy-duty groups and national accounts. Moss is based in Fort Mill, S.C.
Moss, as well as the three zone managers, report to Mike Peace, national sales manager automotive and heavy-duty aftermarket.
