ThyssenKrupp Budd Promotes Robert Soulliere as Sector Chief

ThyssenKrupp Budd has announced several new executive management appointments and retirements at the company's corporate headquarters. Robert Soulliere has been named president of the company's Body Stamping & Plastic Sector. He replaces Richard Urso, who is retiring after 39 years of service. Also retiring from ThyssenKrupp Budd is Charles Davis, corporate vice president, marketing and sales.

TROY, MI — ThyssenKrupp Budd has announced several new executive management appointments and retirements at the company’s corporate headquarters.

Robert Soulliere has been named president of the company’s Body Stamping & Plastic Sector. He replaces Richard Urso, who is retiring after 39 years of service.

Soulliere most recently served as president of ThyssenKrupp Fabco, based in Windsor, Ontario, Canada. ThyssenKrupp Fabco is a subsidiary of ThyssenKrupp Budd with manufacturing facilities in Canada, Mississippi and Tennessee. Soulliere joined Fabco in 1978. He will be replaced by John Baysore.

Urso joined ThyssenKrupp Budd in 1965 at the company’s Philadelphia plant. He served in a variety of positions over the years, including director, president and general manager of Budd Canada Inc. and corporate vice president and president, Budd Plastics Division.

Also retiring from ThyssenKrupp Budd is Charles Davis, corporate vice president, marketing and sales. Davis, a 38-year veteran of the automotive industry, has spent the past eight years with ThyssenKrupp Budd. Davis served in a variety of sales management positions. He started his career at Chrysler Corp. He also worked for Masland Industries, Allied Signal Automotive Brake Systems and Rockwell International Automotive.
