On a beautiful morning in Solano County, California, employees, family and friends of Federated member Vaca Valley Auto Parts participated in the annual “Walk to End Alzheimer’s.” The Solano County walk raised over $130,000 for Alzheimer’s research, with $3,100 coming from the Vaca Valley group.
“We walk in honor of our own Evelyn Martin, as well as all our loved ones, family and friends affected by this horrible disease,” said Traci Taylor, sales manager for Vaca Valley. “Evelyn enjoyed the day and received a Grand Champion medal for continuing to fight her fight with Alzheimer’s. We had a goal of raising $2,000 and raised over $3,000. We want to thank everyone who walked and also financially supported this great cause.”

The Berrodin customers were treated to lunch as well as a great day at the track with Kenny Schrader and the Federated dirt track team.
