The Pronto Network Donates to AACF for Summer Charity Event

The program group encourages others to give to help industry members in need.

The Pronto Network has made a $1,300 donation to the Automotive Aftermarket Charitable Foundation (AACF). The Pronto Network staff started a ‘Wear Your Shorts to Work’ charity event to collect money for this non-profit program. If the daily high temperature didn’t exceed 100 degrees, an employee would “donate” to the fund each day they wore shorts to work. The Pronto Network matched the employee contributions.

Vice President of Sales and Business Development, Mike Peace commented, “What a great way to support the Automotive Aftermarket Charitable Foundation while enduring the brutal Texas summer heat. I want to say thank you to all of our associates who participated and to Robert Roos and The Pronto Network for the generous contribution. We know that every dollar raised helps those families in the Aftermarket who have fallen on difficult times. We hope this served as motivation to all individuals and companies who make the Automotive Aftermarket their careers. Your help is desperately needed.”

The AACF assists individuals and families of the automotive aftermarket. These individuals have fallen on hard times due to death, catastrophic illness, accident, or disaster, and have exhausted all other available resources in maintaining a reasonable existence. The AACF is the only charity of its kind that focuses only on persons and their families employed in the automotive aftermarket.
