The Network’s Auto Pride, Parts Plus Members Recognized By ACDelco

ACDelco recognized several members of the Automotive Distribution Network during its 2016 National Meeting, highlighted by Tonsa Automotive, an Auto Pride member based in Port Washington, New York, earning the distinction of 2016 Distributor of the Year.

The Parts House, a Parts Plus member based in Jacksonville, Florida, received an award for outstanding growth in key sales categories. The following Parts Plus members also were saluted for decades-long partnerships with ACDelco:

Mid-America Parts Distributors, Memphis, Tennessee – 70-plus years

Auto Supply Co. Inc., Winston-Salem, North Carolina – 60-plus years

National Parts Supply, North Brunswick, New Jersey – 60-plus years

ACDelco also recognized these Auto Pride members for 50-plus year partnerships:

“The Network’s members have enjoyed a lasting, fruitful partnership with ACDelco for decades,” said David Prater, president of the Network. “As ACDelco celebrates its centennial this year, the Network looks forward to many more years of combined success.”

Federated Auto Parts Distributors announced it is entering into a collaboration with the Association of Independent Oil Distributors (AIOD) – one it said will focus on mutual benefits for the respective members.

“Federated is constantly looking at ways to improve value for all constituents and this agreement provides that,” said Sue Godschalk, president of Federated. “This collaboration provides added volume and opportunities for our suppliers, new partners for our members, and added supply points and products for shop customers. We have enjoyed working closely with several AIOD members in the past and this agreement will expand and create further opportunities for both Federated and AIOD.”
