The Alliance Appoints Senior Category Analyst – Under Hood

Denton Lewis will play a key role in the category management department.

Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance, Inc. has announced the return of Denton Lewis, who was recently hired as senior category analyst – Under Hood. In this position, Lewis will play a key role in the category management department, as he brings strong analytical and data management capabilities. According to the Alliance, Lewis has a knack for critical thinking and will help the Alliance fully leverage the wealth of aftermarket sales and market research data available to provide data driven insights.

“Denton Lewis was a strong contributor with us in the past, bringing him back now as a senior analyst is great for our headquarters office but more importantly it adds another knowledgeable resource for our shareholder members.” said Justin Hebert, director of category management and the commercial vehicle and heavy duty program at the Alliance. “His job duties will involve direct interaction with our valued channel partners and our distributor members and will work with the entire category management team to continually refine some our most fundamental product segments and brands.”

In this role, Lewis will work with new and existing manufacturing channel partners, perform annual under hood category reviews, assess sales, margin, and evaluate inventory performance by leveraging internal and industry data sources. He will conduct market research and business intelligence for the analysis of competitive positioning, product quality and vehicle coverage. Lewis will be the main point of contact for the under hood category.

The appointment is effective April 1.
