DAYTON, Ohio — An Associated Press report this week indicated that Tenneco will lay off up to 100 employees at its plant in Kettering, Ohio, a suburb of Dayton. About 200 workers at the plant will remain employed.
Tenneco spokeswoman Jane Ostrander said Tuesday that the layoffs are the result of production cuts at its biggest customer, General Motors.
