Tekmetric Releases Innovative Labor Guide

The new guide empowers auto repair shops to create estimates backed by the industry’s most accurate labor times.

Driven by an industry-wide need for up-to-date, trustworthy labor times, Tekmetric has launched an integrated labor guide that will make it easier for users to build estimates. The new labor guide will provide Tekmetric users with labor times from the industry’s most accurate, complete data source on par with other industry leaders, the company says.

Additionally, Tekmetric users will be able to add new labor times by submitting missing information in seconds. With crowdsourced data regularly contributed by tens of thousands of Tekmetric users, Tekmetric’s labor guide will evolve in real time to include the most up-to-date labor times in the industry, according to the company.

“The ability to add and refine labor times was a popular request from our users, and the Tekmetric team worked hard to make their vision a reality,” says Tekmetric Co-Founder and CFO Prasanth Chilukuri. “In the fast-paced world of auto repair, technicians and service writers want to take charge, and we want to empower them to share their wealth of knowledge.”

Staying true to their ease-of-use design philosophy, Tekmetric’s new labor guide is part of an all-in-one system. Service writers can access labor times directly from Tekmetric, then build estimates within the software based on that data.

“Users will no longer have to cross-reference labor times,” added Tekmetric Co-Founder and CEO Sunil Patel. “Service writers can take every step in one place with just a few clicks. We wanted to make the estimate-building workflow even more efficient so that shops can focus on providing top-notch service, winning more business, and increasing their revenue.”

Tekmetric’s labor guide is now available to all Tekmetric users.
