Tammy Tecklenburg, principal of Tecklenburg Advisers, who recently wrapped up her successful tenure as chair of Women in Auto Care, was recently appointed to the Women in Automotive organization. 

Tecklenburg says her goal for the new position on the dealer-focused board is “to share best practices across Women in Auto Care & Women in Automotive and collaborate on key initiatives.” Some examples are that one of their founders, Jody DeVere provided me with the eMentorCnnect connection and we’re exploring opportunities to join forces on a mega-conference in 2022, where we would try to engage all of the women’s communities in automotive, We have a lot of work to do on that but it’s the vision,” Tecklenburg says.

Tecklenburg has a record of driving growth for start-ups and industry leaders including Honeywell, Armored AutoGroup, Spectrum Brands and Energizer Holdings. In addition to her tenure with Women in Auto Care, she was awarded a seat on the Auto Care Board of Directors and was named the 2015 “Auto Care Woman of the Year.”
