Elgin Industries Honored For 18th Straight Year As A Top Supplier To JASPER Engines And Transmissions
Elgin, which is celebrating its 100th anniversary, recently received its latest JASPER Engines and Transmissions “ELMO” trophy in recognition of service excellence.
Representatives from more than 30 suppliers of new components for engines, transmissions, differentials and fuel and air systems were recognized by associates of Jasper Engines and Transmissions during a special celebration at the JASPER Training Facility.
According to Forbes, Jasper ranked 22nd out of 500 nationwide employers within the 1,000 to 5,000 employee category. Jasper was ranked as America’s top midsize company in the Automotive and Suppliers sector and was one of 10 Indiana-based employers to make the list.
The 19,331-square-foot Sacramento facility will have diesel fuel and air components, gas and diesel engines, transmissions and differentials in its inventory.
Recipients are judged on quality, service, fill-rate, response time to a problem and billing/credit procedures, among other criteria.
Elgin manufactures a broad range of internal engine components for Jasper.
