Cooper Tire Wins Global 2018 GOOD DESIGN Awards For Discoverer AT3 Family Of Tires And Discoverer True North
The GOOD DESIGN award is one of the world’s most prestigious and longest-standing design award programs recognizing the most innovative and cutting-edge industrial, product and graphic designs produced around the world.
The dotCOMM Awards are administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals. There were more than 2,000 entries from throughout the United States and many other countries in the 2018 competition.
Over the past several years, Hankook Tire has received numerous awards from IDEA for its futuristic concept tires – bronze in 2015, winner in 2015, finalist in 2017 – but this is the first for Hankook Tire to receive the award for its mass-produced model.
Among the winning entries TFI has designed for clients are logos for NAPA, Prestone and Blue Streak.
Three winning designs, six finalists and four honorable mentions were chosen by the jury from more than 1,000 entrants representing 67 countries. In the past 18 years, Michelin Challenge Design has received more than 13,000 entries from 130 countries.
More than 6,400 entries were judged during the prestigious product design award competition.
“N’FERA AU7,” a technologically innovative tire for a premium driving experience, was recognized in the transportation category at the Good Design Awards 2017.
