Automakers Under Antitrust Investigation After Rebuffing Trump Emissions Policy
Four major automakers – Ford, Honda, BMW and VW – are the subjects of a new antitrust investigation launched by the U.S. Justice Department after deciding to allegedly “go rogue” and continue to build new vehicles following the emission standards set forth by the California Air Resources Board (CARB), rather than the rolled-back, weaker emissions standards issued by the Trump Administration.
