Sun Auto Tire & Service Completes Purchase Of Hogan And Sons

Sun Auto Tire & Service Acquires Hogan And Sons

The acquisition of seven locations across Northern Virginia establishes a coast-to-coast automotive service footprint for Sun.

Sun Auto Tire & Service, Inc. announced it has completed the purchase of Hogan and Sons, a Northern Virginia-based, multi-generational family, full-service automotive repair business. The seven stores based in Northern Virginia mark the first East Coast operations in Sun Auto & Tire’s national portfolio and serve to establish the parent company as a coast-to-coast automotive service organization.

The Hogan and Sons locations acquired by Sun Auto Tire & Service include:

  • 314 E Market St (Leesburg)
  • 9580 Main St (Fairfax)
  • 46970 Community Plaza (Sterling)
  • 2421 A4 Centerville Rd (Herndon)
  • 840 E Main St (Purcellville)
  • 162 Getty Lane (Winchester)
  • 43180 Amberwood Plaza (South Riding)

“Expanding our existing footprint and broadening our services, especially in a strong market, is fundamental to how we define our success at Sun Auto. Until now, our portfolio has traversed across multiple states in the South and Southwest, but the East Coast, specifically the Northern Virginia area, is the ideal market to introduce Sun Auto as the leading provider of quality aftermarket automotive repair, maintenance and tire services across the United States,” said Tony Puckett, CEO, Sun Auto Tire & Service. “Hogan and Sons has had an established presence in the area for almost 40 years, and we look forward to continuing to cultivate those long-term relationships with their customers.”

The Hogan and Sons establishments span three counties, have 54 bays and service all makes and models, from tires to engines. This acquisition increases Sun Auto Service operations to 214 tire and service stores across Virginia, Texas, Arizona, California, Oklahoma and Nevada.
