Stoneridge Names Pisani President and CEO

Stoneridge COO Gerald Pisani has been elected president and CEO of the company, effective immediately. D.M. Draime, Stoneridge's chairman and founder, who has served as interim CEO since January 1, will remain as chairman.

WARREN, OHIO — Stoneridge COO Gerald Pisani has been elected president and CEO of the company, effective immediately. D.M. Draime, Stoneridge’s chairman and founder, who has served as interim CEO since January 1, will remain as chairman.

Pisani was elected by the company’s board of directors during the company’s annual meeting of shareholders. In addition, the board is expected to elect Pisani as a director to fill a current vacancy on the board.

Pisani joined Stoneridge in 1998 when the company acquired Joseph Pollak Corp. At that time, Pisani was the president of Joseph Pollak. He was named vice president and a corporate officer of Stoneridge in 1989, was appointed president of the Engineered Products Group in 1992. He became COO of the company in December 2003.

The company said it expects to name a new COO by mid-summer.
