Stay Tuned Next Week: Leadership 2.0 Blogs

Once again, several participants in next week's session have agreed to give us their insider's take on the experience, as part of our second annual Leadership 2.0 blogger series.

This weekend, 30 aftermarket professionals will return to the classroom for Session II of the University of the Aftermarket’s sold-out Leadership 2.0 experience. Throughout the coming week, they will hear from industry leaders such as Tim Lee, MAAP, president of Lang Distributing Inc., analyze the latest industry challenges, present their intersession research findings and hone their leadership skills before returning to their jobs at aftermarket manufacturing, distribution, association and vehicle service organizations.

Do you speak spark plug? Most part numbers are a meaningless series of numbers and letters. But spark plugs have a language on the side of the box that can tell you what’s inside. Like any other language, there are dialects.

The nomenclature of spark plug part numbers can tell you everything from size (diameter and reach) to what materials are on the center and ground electrode. Like learning a new language, knowing how to translate spark plug numbers can open up a new way to inventory and sell spark plugs for counter professionals.
