Stant Receives 2015 GM Supplier Quality Excellence Award

The award recognizes top-performing suppliers that have met or exceeded GM’s stringent set of quality performance criteria and have achieved cross-functional support of the entire GM organization.

Stant - LogoStant Corp. was presented with General Motors’ (GM)2015 Supplier Quality Excellence Award for its plant in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. The award recognizes top-performing suppliers that have met or exceeded GM’s stringent set of quality performance criteria and have achieved cross-functional support of the entire GM organization.

“Stant is committed to delivering the high levels of customer service, quality and reliability our customers deserve and expect,” said Lou Braga, Stant CEO. “We are honored that GM, a valued and longstanding customer, recognized our achievements with this award.”

Stant’s Pine Bluff location services GM’s fuel vapor management product requirements.

“Maintaining a focus on the details to achieve perfection each day is not an easy task, so much so that only a fraction of our suppliers have earned this special recognition,” noted Tony Francavilla, GM executive director, global supplier quality and development.
