Standards Testing Labs Names New Managing Director for China Office

MASSILLON, OH — Standards Testing Laboratories (STL), the world’s largest independent testing facility for tires, wheels and related automotive components, has named David Caniglia managing director of its Beijing, China-based sales office.

In this position, Caniglia will be responsible for managing sales, which includes client development, estimates, needs assessment surveys and customer service in the Chinese market. Caniglia will also handle day-to-day client management activities. He has more than 33 years experience in the tire industry, starting as a tire development engineer at General Tire and has held various international sales positions at NRM, McNeil & NRM and Myers Tire Supply.

Caniglia holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology and a Masters in Business from Kent State University.

Based in Massillon, OH, STL operates testing facilities in Massillon and San Angelo, TX.
