Stabilus North America Opens New Distribution Center In Michigan

This new facility will directly service the complete line of Stabilus OE Lift Support and Power Lift Gate products for the company’s retail and wholesale customers.

Yesterday, Stabilus announced the expansion of its Global Independent Aftermarket business with the opening of its North American distribution center in Bellville, Michigan.

This new facility will directly service the complete line of Stabilus OE Lift Support and Power Lift Gate products for the company’s retail and wholesale customers.

Stabilus is a leading provider of OE lift supports and power lift gate products, with 70% market share in light-, medium-, heavy-duty vehicles as well as agriculture equipment. Stabilus also supplies 90% of all automotive OE lift supports in North America, including a wide range of marine and universal gas lift supports. 

The new Bellville, Michigan, distribution center offers 2,100 part numbers covering 99% of the market of all manufactured and import vehicles operating on North American highways. Not only does Stabilus offer a depth of coverage, the company says it also offers a depth of inventory to supply its customer base with 98% order fill within five days of order receipt.
