SPX Wins Renault Supplier Quality Award

The Renault Supplier Quality Award program was established six years ago to distinguish suppliers whose performance and dedication have contributed significantly to quality advances at Renault. The awards are given in recognition of quality in products and services, regardless of the supplier's country, size or sector of activity.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — SPX Corp.’s Service Solutions business has received a Supplier Quality Award from Renault in recognition of its excellence in developing diagnostic tools for the after-sales network in 2010.

A Renault supplier since 2007, SPX Service Solutions won the award for its work in supplying Renault with automotive diagnostics software. Odile Desforges, Renault executive vice president, engineering and quality, and Christian Vandenhende, senior vice president, purchasing, and managing director of the Renault-Nissan Purchasing Organization, presented the award to SPX Service Solutions during a ceremony at the Frankfurt Motor Show on Sept. 13.

"SPX Service Solutions has demonstrated a strong commitment to excellence and has consistently met or exceeded the expectations we have for our suppliers of diagnostic tools," said Vandenhende. "We are pleased to recognize the quality of SPX’s performance as a Renault supplier this past year with our 2010 Supplier Quality Award."
