DULUTH, Ga. — SPX Service Solutions has entered into a five-year agreement with AGCO Corp of Duluth, Ga., to supply AGCO dealers worldwide with the newly released AGCO Electronic Diagnostic Tool (EDT). Founded in 1990, AGCO Corporation is a global manufacturer of agricultural equipment and related replacement parts.
Under the terms of the agreement, AGCO will develop the program diagnostic content and SPX Service Solutions will provide the diagnostic hardware; design and maintain an e-commerce website utilizing the new SPX Service Solution’s SRS (Service Readiness System) program. SPX will also provide after-sales support including web-based updates to the diagnostic platform; provide loaner and repair services; and, technical support services at three regional SPX Service Solutions global technical service locations.
The AGCO EDT program is a newly developed common diagnostic platform capable of supporting all AGCO brands worldwide and will first be released in North America, Europe and Australia in the first quarter of 2009.
