SPX Service Solutions Acquires AutoXray

SPX Corp. announced yesterday that its Service Solutions business has acquired Tempe, Arizona-based AutoXray, Inc., which designs automotive diagnostic test equipment and instrumentation marketed to professional technicians and retailers.

CHARLOTTE, NC — SPX Corp. announced yesterday that its Service Solutions business has acquired Tempe, Arizona-based AutoXray, Inc., which designs automotive diagnostic test equipment and instrumentation marketed to professional technicians and retailers.

SPX is a global provider of technical products and systems, industrial products and services, flow technology, cooling technologies and services and service solutions. The SPX Service Solutions business is a global leader in the design, manufacture and marketing of special service tools, advanced diagnostics and service equipment, inspection and gauging systems and technical and training information.

Commenting on the announcement, David Kowalski, president of SPX Service Solutions, said, “AutoXray is an innovative supplier of automotive diagnostic test equipment and a great fit with our existing, technology-driven line of vehicle diagnostic equipment.
