Spectra Premium Industries Names New Product Development Director

Aaron Athey joins Spectra Premium from Advance Auto Parts, where he has held numerous positions in merchandising and inventory management.

BOUCHERVILLE, Quebec – Spectra Premium Industries has announced the appointment of Aaron Athey to corporate category and product development director – engine management, effective Sept. 22.
 
Athey will be assuming the overall category and development responsibilities for all new engine management lines from previously acquired Richporter Technologies as well as the development of new upcoming engine management technology.
 
Athey joins Spectra Premium from Advance Auto Parts, where he has held numerous positions in merchandising and inventory management. He most recently served as senior category manager, where he was responsible for driving the sales and profitability of the engine management category. He also has multiple years of experience managing the fuel systems category at Advance. Prior to his tenure in merchandising, he spent four years in inventory management, where he was responsible for multiple categories including brakes, batteries, tune up and engine management. A graduate of Roanoke College, Athey earned a bachelor of business administration with a concentration in marketing.
