Spectra Premium Offers Improved Data Coverage For Mexican Market

The improved data not only increases the total coverage of Spectra Premium parts, it also provides greater accuracy of part application.

Spectra Premium has invested to improve its data coverage for the Mexican market.

“We pride ourselves in providing excellent data, industry-leading coverage and quality parts,” said Collin Francis, vice president of sales & marketing, Aftermarket USA. “After an extensive review, we have revamped our catalog and product information to announce almost 90 percent coverage of vehicles on the road today for radiators on the Mexican market. We will continue our efforts to improve the standards of our data for that important market. It’s important for us to always offer to our customers the right part, when they need it.”

The Mexican market presents a challenge in terms of vehicle data, according to Spectra Premium. More than half of Mexican vehicles are imported from Europe and Asia. The other half – vehicles from domestic automakers like Ford, GM and Chrysler – may either come from the United States or be imported from Europe. As a result, two vehicles carrying the same name may use different parts for repair.

The improved data not only increases the total coverage of Spectra Premium parts, it also provides greater accuracy of part application.

Earlier this year, Spectra Premium was awarded the 2019 Gold Catalog Content Excellence Award for Web Catalog from the Automotive Content Professionals Network (ACPN).
