ELGIN, IL — SKF recently received the National Catalog Managers Association’s (NCMA) 2005-2006 President’s Award for Web Catalog Excellence for its Passenger/Light Truck Online Applications Catalog. The catalog offers applications data, images, part number cross-referencing and specifications, such as size, type and weight.

“We are honored that the NCMA cited SKF with this award,” said Manuel Lopez, catalog manager, SKF. “The President’s Award recognizes the level of quality that our team has maintained in producing catalog materials for SKF and our success in offering quality catalog information on-line. This is especially important to SKF, because our catalogs not only provide guidance to our customers in product selection, but also valuable technical information about applications and maintenance.”

The SKF Passenger/Light Truck Online Applications Catalog met specific criteria in order to qualify for the President’s Award for Web Catalog Excellence, including security, ease of navigation, accuracy of information, aesthetic appeal and effectiveness of the help menu. SKF accepted the award at a recent NCMA banquet held in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Previously, SKF received Catalog of the Year honors in 2000 as well as the 2003-2004 President’s Award for Catalog Excellence in 2004.
