SKF Names George Garner Director of Sales for NAPA

In his new position, Garner will focus primarily on the marketing and sales activities related to NAPA Bearings and Oil Seals.

ELGIN, Ill. – SKF recently named George Garner as director of sales for NAPA at SKF Vehicle Service Market (VSM), North America, effective immediately. Garner has replaced Ed Vance, who retired after a 20-year career with SKF.
 
In his new position, Garner will focus primarily on the marketing and sales activities related to NAPA Bearings and Oil Seals. Garner will correspond directly with NAPA headquarters and the NAPA Undercar sales team.
 
During his seven-year career with SKF, Garner has served as the western regional sales manager for NAPA Bearings and Oil Seals. Additionally, Garner managed the overall sales growth initiatives for NAPA’s Western and Mountain Division.
 
Garner has a bachelor’s degree from Western Washington University, and takes on his new role with many years of sales and management experience. Prior to joining SKF, Garner worked for the Freightliner Corp. as aftermarket manager of supply chain logistics. Additionally, Garner spent 13 years working for NAPA-Genuine Parts Co. headquarters, where he served as director of product development.
