Sika Corp. Announces Management Promotions in Industry, Automotive Divisions

Dave Jones has been promoted to the position of senior vice president - Industry and Automotive USA. Scott Henry is promoted to corporate head, Business Unit Industry.

MADISON HEIGHTS, Mich. – Sika Corp.’s Industry and Automotive divisions have announced management promotions. Sika Corp. is a supplier of specialty chemical products and industrial materials serving construction and industrial markets including automotive, transportation and marine.
 
Dave Jones has been promoted to the position of senior vice president – Industry and Automotive USA. Scott Henry is promoted to corporate head, Business Unit Industry. Henry will relocate to Switzerland in assuming his new role.
 
Jones joined Sika Corp. in 1995 as an application engineer and has held various positions including sales engineer, key account manager and as the vice president of engineering for Sika Automotive Europe. In 2005, he was promoted to the position of vice president, Automotive Engineering USA and in 2010 to senior vice president, Automotive USA.  In his expanded role as senior vice president – Industry and Automotive, he will report to Paul Schuler for Industry, to Thomas Hasler for Automotive and will join the North American Executive Team.
 
Henry joined Sika Industry in 1997 as a product engineer, and has held various positions including product engineering manager, director of product engineering, vice president –Transportation and Appliance & Components Business Units and since 2010, he has served as senior vice president – Industry.  In his new role as corporate head, Business Unit Industry, Henry will report directly to Silvio Ponte, Sika AG Group Manager – Building Systems & Industry.
