Siemens VDO Automotive Awarded Cooling Fan Assembly Business for Three Major U.S. Accounts

ALLENTOWN , PA — Siemens VDO Automotive has been awarded the entire cooling fan assembly business for AutoZone, O’Reilly’s Auto Parts and CSK.

According to Sean Stanic, aftermarket sales director for Siemens VDO Automotive Service & Special Solutions, the company was selected for its OE-style fit and reliability.

“Today’s auto parts distributors and retailers have a lot at stake, especially with their commercial accounts,” said Stanic. “Competition in the automotive aftermarket channels is tough when it comes to quality and reliability at the professional service level. As a result, these distributors and retailers actively seek out and prefer to partner with proven vendors that are committed to helping them maintain a reputation of excellence in consistently delivering the best products and services possible.

“And, our organization can deliver the type of promotional support and customer service needed to make the program successful,” he said.

Siemens VDO Cooling Fan Assemblies are engineered and built using OE-style motors for quiet operation, long life and vehicle-specific cooling requirements. The shrouds and connectors are designed for an exact OE fit to simplify installation and save labor, said the company.

The line includes more than 170 SKUs, including radiator and condenser fan assemblies, and provides replacement application coverage for more than 80 million vehicles on the road today.
