Seminar Schedule for 2009 Alliance Convention Receives University of the Aftermarket Accreditation

The Alliance convention, which takes place March 4-8 at Nashville's Gaylord Opryland Hotel, will feature 18 business seminars.

MIDLAND, Mich. – The full schedule of business education sessions that will take place in conjunction with the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance 2009 convention next month in Nashville has now been accredited by the University of the Aftermarket.

Educational accreditation – based on the University’s analysis of program content and format in keeping with academic standards – enables participants to earn continuing education units (CEU) that can be applied toward their Automotive Aftermarket Professional (AAP) or Master Automotive Aftermarket Professional (MAAP) certifications.

The Alliance convention, which takes place March 4-8 at Nashville’s Gaylord Opryland Hotel, will feature 18 business seminars designed specifically for distributor shareholders, outside sales professionals, store managers and owners/managers of affiliated automotive service facilities. Among the scheduled seminars are “Creating a Presence of Value,” “Cash Profits Workshop,” “Effective Selling Without Sacrificing Customer Service,” “Mining the Gold: Converting New-Car Dealer Customers Into Your Loyal Clientele,” and “How to Increase Revenue Per Bay and Keep Everyone Happy.”

Other aftermarket organizations and industry events that have received educational accreditation by the University of the Aftermarket include AAIA, AASA, MIS Council, AWDA, AAPEX, AASA Vision Conference, Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week, GAAS and Aftermarket eForum.

“Accreditation of our convention’s educational programming is a clear signal that we’re providing important value to our shareholders and customers – value in the form of the latest tools and strategies for building and maintaining a highly competitive and profitable business,” said Alliance President and Chief Executive Officer Richard Morgan.

Organizations that wish to have a course or other educational offering considered for accreditation should contact the University of the Aftermarket at 1-800-551-2882.
