With industry professionals from more than 130 countries attending the SEMA Show each year, the annual trade show offers valuable resources, activities and amenities specifically for international visitors. From the Center for International Commerce (CIC) to translators and its International Happy Hour, SEMA Show organizers help international buyers connect with exhibitors and find new products. The 2017 SEMA Show will take place Tuesday-Friday, Oct. 31-Nov. 3, in Las Vegas.
“The SEMA Show is the best place for exhibitors to meet with international buyers and grow their export business,” said Linda Spencer, SEMA senior director of international and government affairs. “Automotive customization is growing worldwide, and buyers look to the SEMA Show to find new products and see what the hot trends are.”
Among the SEMA Show international resources are:
- International Registration: Applications for SEMA Show credentials are available at semashow.com/register in multiple languages and include an easy option to request a visa letter if necessary.
- Center for International Commerce: It serves as home base for visitors from outside the United States during the SEMA Show. Among the resources available in the CIC are translators, private meeting rooms, a lounge area and complimentary Wi-Fi.
- International Happy Hour: The evening mixer is a chance for international buyers to connect with strategic exhibitors, the Department of Commerce and more.
- International Roundtables: On Monday, Oct. 30, attendees will hear from and learn about the automotive market in key countries that have growing vehicle markets.
The SEMA Show international activities are part of a year-round program that includes trips to pre-identified countries, ongoing legislative advocacy, buyer relations activities and more. To learn more about the international program, contact Linda Spencer at [email protected].
