LOS ANGELES — More than $5,000 was raised for charity through a variety of special activities that took place during the SEMA International Auto Salon-Los Angeles earlier this month.
Funds were raised through a silent auction, track attack challenge and donations from members and companies in the industry. Proceeds benefit Athletes and Entertainers for Kids, a nonprofit organization that provides a variety of programs to children in need.
Silent auction contributors included: AEM; All Direct Travel; American Products Co.; Athletes and Entertainers for Kids; Bob Bond and SEMA Fine Art Exhibit; Funline Merchandise Co.; HKS; Jim Russell Racing Driver’s School; Liz Lombardo; Marketing Design Group; Media Management Marketing; Mondera Wheels Inc.; My Classic Car; RadioShack; SEMA; and VP Media Group.
Track Attack Challenge sponsors included American Products Co.; Dodge/Mopar; Scion; Super Street and Yokohama. Xmods and Gateway also contributed to the program.
