Jasper Engines & Transmissions recently launched its redesigned Web site – www.jasperengines.com. The newly redesigned site features an entirely new look with reorganized content and navigation. According to Mike Pfau, Jasper’s Advertising Manager, the Internet is a powerful component of a company’s communication efforts.
Jasper Engines & Transmissions to Purchase Remanufacturing Facility
Jasper Engines & Transmissions has purchased the assets of a former remanufacturer of gas and diesel engines. A letter of intent has been signed to purchase the 83,000-square-foot engine remanufacturing plant in Willow Springs, Mo. The plant, located approximately 60 miles east of Springfield, has been closed since December of 2003. Jasper plans to restart the plant by July 5th, producing 40 to 45 gas engines a day, and will expand into producing transmissions.
Jasper Engines & Transmissions Becomes “Silver” Sponsor of the Car Care Council Women’s Board
Jasper Engines & Transmissions has signed on as a “Silver” sponsor of the Car Car Council’s Women’s Board activities for 2004. The Car Care Council Women’s Board recently expanded its sponsorship program in order to support all of the Women’s Board activities for the year.
Jasper Engines & Transmissions’ Leuck Named President of APRA’s Volume Transmission Division
Craig Leuck, manager of the Transmission Division at Jasper Engines & Transmissions, has been appointed president of the Volume Transmission Division for the Automotive Parts Rebuilders Association (APRA). Lueck will work with APRA board members to address industry concerns, answer the needs of volume transmission rebuilders, locate resources for information and share this information through active participation with its members.
Federal-Mogul Named a Jasper Engines
For the 17th year in a row, Federal-Mogul Corp. has been presented with Jasper Engines & Transmissions’ “Preferred Partner” award. Jasper is one of Federal-Mogul’s largest customers, and the only company to have received the “Preferred Partner” award every year since its inception.
Jasper Engines and Transmissions Names Clevite Engine Parts a Preferred Supplier
For the eighth consecutive year, Dana Corp.’s Clevite Engine Parts has been named a “Preferred Partner” by Jasper Engines & Transmissions. The award was presented during the Jasper Engines & Transmissions Annual Preferred Partners Banquet on March 9. Out of more than 2,000 Jasper vendors, Clevite was one of only seven to earn the Preferred Partner Award.
