SA Advises Vaca Valley Auto Parts In Sale To GPC

Vaca Valley Auto Parts has been a successful auto parts store in Fairfield, California, since 1974.

Schwartz Advisors (SA), a leading M&A advisory and strategic planning firm for the automotive aftermarket industry, announced that it has acted as the exclusive sell-side advisor to Vaca Valley Auto Parts in its successful sale to the Genuine Parts Co (GPC). The transaction officially closed on December 2.

Vaca Valley Auto Parts has been a successful auto parts store in Fairfield, California, since 1974. The company has been owned and operated by the father-and-son team of Jack and Trevor Martin. The pair will continue to run the business under GPC ownership. The company joined Federated Auto Parts in 2002.

SA Managing Partner Rick Schwartz and Keith Zar assisted Vaca Valley on the transaction.
