Schrader Launches Free TPMS E-Training Platform

Schrader Launches Free TPMS E-Training Platform

The company also announced a chance to win a Schrader Anniversary Shop Stool.

Schrader, an aftermarket brand of Sensata Technologies and a leading OE manufacturer of tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS), has announced the official launch of new free TPMS e-Training on the Schrader Academy platform. The company also announced a chance to win a Schrader Anniversary Shop Stool.

Schrader is not only a global leader in TPMS, but also leads in marketing of proper, certified TPMS training, according to the company. In November 2019, Schrader announced its new official training brand, Schrader Academy, which serves as the platform for all of Schrader’s TPMS training initiatives, including printables, downloads, face-to-face trainings and now the new e-Training platform. The brand was created to build a community of TPMS service professionals and provide a central location for accurate and trusted TPMS resources directly from the leading OE manufacturer.

Schrader’s latest addition to Schrader Academy is the TPMS e-Training course offered on TPMSAcademy.com. This free training course walks service professionals through five modules of basic TPMS knowledge and training. It covers topics like the North American TPMS legislation, sensor overviews, installation best practices, programming, relearning and more. If users complete the course with an 80% or higher, they will receive an official certificate of completion.

Through June 30, Schrader will be offering a promotional giveaway in an effort to promote the new E-Training platform. By completing all five modules of the course with a score of 80% or higher individuals will automatically be entered to win one of five, Schrader 175th anniversary shop stools.

“Being the industry’s first online TPMS training platform, our team is looking forward to providing additional added value to service professionals looking for TPMS educational resources,” said Yanick Leduc, North American Technical team leader. “There is a lot of bad content out there, at Schrader, we believe it is our responsibility to provide proper training for such an important safety product.”

Schrader Academy’s e-Training platform is SCORM compatible, allowing Schrader’s customers to also host the content on their own Learning Management Systems. The platform will continuously evolve with fresh new training content on a regular basis, including up-to-date information about Schrader TPMS training opportunities. Visitors are able to explore the new site and register for the TPMS e-Training course at TPMSAcademy.com
