Roadranger Marketing Announces License Agreement with K-Line Industries

The agreement provides K-Line with specially designed service tools tested and approved by the Roadranger organization.

KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Roadranger Marketing has announced a license agreement with K-Line Industries to manufacture and market special tools to service Eaton and Dana drivetrain components.

K-Line is a family owned provider of specialty tools and tooling systems for the turf, agricultural, construction, and heavy truck and equipment markets.

Roadranger is a marketing alliance of Dana Holding Corp., Eaton Corp. and other trusted partners, providing a complete line of drivetrain components, systems, lubricants, safety products and service tools. Truck makers, dealers, owners and service providers are assisted by the Roadranger support team – providing specification assistance, training, service, parts and warranty expertise throughout North America.

“These tools offer service technicians the latest, long-lasting and efficient service tools for Eaton clutches, transmissions and hybrid power systems, as well as Dana Spicer axles,” said Rick Muth, Roadranger program manager. “The special tools can help speed repairs to enhance service profits. Anyone who services commercial vehicles benefits, including dealers, independent drivetrain service garages, fleets and truck owners.”

The agreement provides K-Line with specially designed service tools tested and approved by the Roadranger organization. The service tool designs are based on decades of manufacturing and service experience, according to Roadranger.

K-Line has a 210,000-square-foot facility with a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant complete with engineering offices, a test lab, a two-cell dynamometer lab, a hands-on training room and ready-to-ship inventory to support catalog sales.

“K-Line is proud to offer special Roadranger drivetrain tools to service shops,” said Tom Knowles, K-Line Industries president. “It’s a perfect fit with the expertise we offer in marketing and manufacturing durable special service tools for commercial vehicle applications.”
