Richard Anderson Joins MEMA as Senior Market Research Analyst

Richard Anderson has joined the Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA) as senior market research analyst. Before joining MEMA, Anderson worked for CARQUEST at its Raleigh, N.C., headquarters as the lead product analyst. Anderson is an ASE certified parts expert, and is a high performance driving school instructor.

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC — Richard Anderson has joined the Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA) as senior market research analyst.

Before joining MEMA, Anderson worked for CARQUEST at its Raleigh, N.C., headquarters as the lead product analyst. Anderson is an ASE certified parts expert, and is a high performance driving school instructor.

At MEMA, Anderson’s duties will include the analysis of third-party market and industry information, writing articles for research publications and news articles, and management of the MEMA product line reporting programs. He will also answer requests for specific industry information from association members and others interested in the motor vehicle industry.

Anderson also will perform primary research, gathering original data by survey and other methods. This will include the survey of sales force compensation and organizational structures and a new project to collect timely benchmarking statistics from automotive aftermarket manufacturers.
