Renault Presents Axalta Coating Systems With Supplier Award For Innovation

Axalta is the only company this year to receive an award from Renault in the innovation category.

Axalta Coating Systems, a global manufacturer of liquid and powder coatings, has been honored with a supplier award for innovation for its new refinish fast-cure clearcoat technology by French carmaker Renault. The award was presented at a ceremony which took place on June 20 in Paris.

Adrien Schrobiltgen, Axalta’s vice president of Refinish Systems for Europe, Middle East and Africa, and Laurent Oliveras, Axalta’s country business manager of Refinish Systems for France, received the award from M. Gaspar Gascon Abellan – product engineer director for Renault, on behalf of Axalta.

Schrobiltgen said, “We are very honored to have been selected by Renault for this award. Axalta is a company driven by the desire to help its customers achieve their goals, and that means we continually invest in developing new innovations to meet specific customer needs. We have just recently expanded our European Technology Center in Wuppertal, Germany, the home to our liquid coating research facilities, where 300 professionals research and create next-generation coatings and services so that we can continue to deliver cutting-edge technology to our customers.”

Renault also gave out awards for quality, corporate social responsibility and design at the event.
